The planning stage happens in collaboration with our restorative dentist who uses intraoral digital scanner, realistic digital wax-ups and 3-D con beam scans to ensure the best global result.
The placement of the implants is one by using 3D surgical printed guides for a predictable and successful aesthetic result.
Olivier Beckers is a dedicated maxillofacial surgeon at the university hospital of Brussels as a member of the European face centre. He obtained his degree in medicine at the university of Leuven in 2011. In 2014 he graduated from dental school at the same university. He was inspired and trained by his mentor, Professor Maurice Mommaerts, and recently joined his department after graduating.
His work encompasses the entire spectrum of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a particular sub-specialty interest in facial esthetic, oncological and (patient specific facial implant) reconstructive surgery.
Besides his professional activity at the university hospital of Brussels, he currently is a part-time fellow at the department of Professor Klaus-Dietrich Wolff (klinikum rechts der Isar, Munich) to enhance his expertise in microvascular free tissue transfer.
